RESOURCES

Taking our commitments to the next level

Our Responsible Sourcing (RSP) program is designed to support projects that we believe will lead to a more sustainable future.

The purpose of this program is to fund a variety of stewardship projects that support the conservation of our most valuable ocean resources.

We work closely with our colleagues z FishWise to screen and select recipients of RSP funding. FishWise supports the health and restoration of ocean ecosystems by providing innovative market tools for the seafood industry. The organization promotes sustainability through environmentally responsible business practices while helping us stay connected to the projects we fund. To learn more about FishWise, visit their website.

The key to our program is participation.

This means that we are not only concerned with sustainability issues, but also actively involved in educating our customers and dealer network about the issues facing the seafood industry.

RSP by FJORD it also helps identify, qualify and verify new (and existing) suppliers. Our concern is to ensure that everyone we do business with shares our commitment to food safety, supply integrity and sustainable practices.

Such an investment on the supply side of the equation provides both ongoing evaluation and the acquisition of valuable insights that we can then pass on to our customers.
