The Company Fjord Bohemia was established in 1999 as a small company seated in Prague 9 – Čakovice. Its main activity was the distribution of fresh fish in the Czech market, mainly for restaurants, hotels or direct clients. A further activity, which Fjord Bohemia has kept until today is the traditional and natural smoking of salmon on oak wood without the use of preservatives and its distribution. Because of a fast developing fresh fish market two years ago there was born the idea to establish a platform in Prague in the center of Europe that will be specialized in fish processing to cover the continuously growing demand of the market. Fjord Bohemia is an interface between suppliers and final clients, which brings a lot of opportunities for cooperation and new chances on the market.
